Hey there y’all! I guess that this page is meant to be where you can learn a bit more ’bout me.

First things first: My name’s Hugo Royer. Born and bred in Thetford Mines, Québec, a small town 1 hour from both Québec City and Sherbrooke. I also have a younger brother, Pascal, and sister, Sophie. I’m currently a student in Université Laval in the BEALS program (ESL Teaching).

Besides school, I’m also a part-time photographer. I shoot mostly sports, music and portraits and sometimes I film and produce movies.

Politically, I’m an anarchist-communist — this may sound like a big deal, but it’s not! I’m not a bad guy — and proud of it. Most of the people who went to Cégep with me know it because of my multiple involvements in student struggles, demonstration and unions. I believe in social equality: sex, races, jobs, etc.

I’m also a coffee addict… seriously, I just love it! Espressos, cappuccinos or allongés, I drink ‘em all! And alcoholically speaking, I’m a vodka-lover, my favourite beer is Guinness and my favourite shots are uppercuts (Southern Comfort + Triple Sec + Amaretto + Orange juice).

As for music, I listen to everything. But I have my all-time favourites: Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, blink-182, Anti-Flag, Pink Floyd, The Offspring, Jean Leloup and Les Vulgaires Machins.

I have to admit the fact that I’m a geek… I know HTML, PHP, Javascript and CSS, and I master Adobe Photoshop and I’m advanced with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro.
